Ingredients

  • 1 lb fettuccine or flat pasta
  • 2/3 cup unsalted butter, soft
  • 1 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Heat butter & cream over medium-low heat just until butter is all melted and the mixture becomes hot
  • Slowly add 1 cup of cheese until it has melted & sauce has thickened
  • Divide among plates and add extra cheese
  • Season with fresh black pepper
