Chile colorado rojo para tamales
Ingredients
- 1 bag of each:
- Guajillo
- New Mexico
- California
Instructions
- Clean pods and remove seeds
- Rinse four times with cool water
- Soak in hot water, not boiling, for 20-30 min. Reserve water.
- When chiles have expanded and water is cool, take them out of the water and blend with water that has been reserved from the soak, 1/4 cup at a time
- You may need to blend in batches and then mix together
